During this semester of research, Giuseppina Corona has been a very important figure for us, and this atwork has completed a circle begun in August 2014. We present, with these papers, a dialogue between us and Giuseppina, a dialogue stemmed from some wall frottages, a three-people job, completed in different times.
What comes to light is a timeline, a rationalization of an emotional event which involved her. Giuseppina presents to us a very long, yet close period. She was born in Erto in 1953, then moved to the Pordenone area with her family, where she’s still living to this day.

“… They slowly sink in the water, day after day, like a mangled ship. Those who have inhabited them only a year ago, who have broken their backs in the fields surrounding them, who in those houses have given birth to their sons and daughters, who have seen them chase each other on the grass, are frigtened witnesses to the disappearance of their lost landscape. They’re already refugees…”
